Today, the Institute of Archaeology and Heritage Studies conducted an preliminary exploration with Dr.Nimal Perera and Senior Lecturer Chandima Ambanwala regarding a pre-historic cave complex. These are few moments captured by the camera during the exploration.
Yesterday (09/12/2020), an initial discussion was conducted with Dr. Nimal Perera about the field project which is to be carried out by the Institute of Archaeology and Heritage Studies in the near future. It was such a great experience and a sheer delight to work with him, who is an expertise in Sri Lankan prehistory and also the former Director of excavation of Department of Archaeology, Sri Lanka, in our first field project.
